Setting Up Custom Domains

A custom domain is a powerful way to reinforce your brand and make your store easier for customers to find.

How to Add a Custom Domain

1. Log in to your Cartgon dashboard.
2. Navigate to Store Settings > Domains.
3. Click the "Add Domain" button.
4. Enter your custom domain name (e.g., www.yourstore.com).
5. Follow the instructions provided to update your domain's DNS settings.

Updating Your DNS Settings

To connect your custom domain to Cartgon, you'll need to add a few records to your domain's DNS settings.

• A Record: Point your root domain to the IP address provided.
• CNAME Record: Point your www subdomain to the target address provided.

Once you've updated your DNS settings, it may take up to 24-48 hours for the changes to propagate. You can check the status of your domain on the "Domains" page in your dashboard.
